ABC Notation

Let's get beyond two barriers about ABC notation!
1.  If you read standard notation
You are likely thinking "who needs ABC Notation? I'm covered."  Well, only partially covered.  Far more tunes are available in ABC format than in standard notation.  You do not have to be a whiz-bang at ABC for it be be extremely useful.  Take a little time to understand this brilliant musical notation format.  ABC notation doesn't support orchestral music very well.  But, it's perfect for traditional music.
2.  If you don't read standard notation
You are probably thinking "UGH.... too much too learn.  I don't need it.  I'll just play it by ear".  But, that limits you to learning only what you can hear and figure out.  Knowing ABC notation opens up thousands of tunes you would never be able to catch in a session.
