Stretching for Bodhran Players

N.B.  These videos and accompanying text present stretching exercises.  If you have any sort of physical impairment in your arms, wrists hands or spine; if you have had surgery on your arms, wrists hands or spine (such as repair of a rotator cuff or a claw hand), DO NOT attempt these stretching exercises without consulting a physician.

If you proceed with these exercises, do so slowly and gently.  The value of stretching lies in allowing muscles to gradually relax and extend their length.  NEVER force a stretch.  NEVER bounce or jerk the arms and hands while stretching.  If done with care and patience.these exercises are safe for physically able people

Additional stretching exercises are available at these links.
