Learning Tools You Need

1. Metronome
Beyond the instrument or your choice, you'll need a metronome.  Click Here for physical and software based metronomes.

2.  ABC Notation
According to ABCnotation.com, there are more than 580,000 tunes available in ABC notation for free.  Why wouldn't a musician learn ABC notation!!!  It's very easy to master.

All tunes on this website are written in both standard musical notation and ABC notation.  All traditional musicians should learn ABC notation.   A free ABC reader that will play the tunes, display the tunes in standard musical notation and print tunes is available at this link: https://www.nilsliberg.se/ksp/easyabc/.

A concise and thorough tutor for ABC notation is found at this link:  http://www.lesession.co.uk/abc/abc_notation.htm

3.  Software to Slow Tempo without Changing pitch
If you want to practice with slowed-down versions of the sample tunes, you'll need software to accomplish that. Click Here for the free software you need.
